Are You Sick of Chicken Pictures Yet?

You've got to click on this picture and look at it closer up to see her expression with those beady eyes.

This is Big Hilda now turning a buff color...now I'm beginning to think she might be a hen.

This is Tillie, an Ameracauna ....she has Cleopatra eyes.

This is Cora, an Ameracauna, with Egyptian eyes too.

I think this is the prettiest hen...she has gold and grey feathers. If I only had a name.....

Well, I could go on and on with chicken pictures but I won't bore you. I'm still trying to figure out my camera and have to get my mind on something other than the house.

Happy Trails...

  1. Hi Berte,
Thanks for stopping by, I like your chickens/ and pictures too. Looks like some New Hampshire Reds, Buff Orpingtons, and Ameraucanas. We have pretty much the same breeds, add to the list Delawares and instead of Ameraucanas, we have Araucanas, (not sure that's spelled properly or not). They are a hoot to watch as each of them have their own characteristics, funny!

  3. I love your chickens. I SO hope my hubby will let me have some chickens when we get out to the farm!

I'm making your taco soup today. We're going to the farm and will have some extra family members. It's cloudy and chilly and just the right weather for taco soup! Thanks for sharing this recipe!
    Have a good weekend!
