"Mama, Mama, here I am...do you hear me?"
Here he comes from the other end of the room just a chirping.. here I am, here I am!!
Yes, they are in my back porch room and this little guy is loose, running around, trying to find someone to help. He has walked passed a very large stuffed horse and then comes up to a stuffed chicken. Hmmm....what's this?
Ahhhh, safe and sound, back in the water trough with my friends...
Thank goodness, at two weeks the imprinting has paid off. I called out for little one and he came running and let me scoop him right up.
Happy Trails...

How cute is that! I'll get chicks some other time. I bought older pullets & my two oldest have just started to lay! Those little turkey chicks are so cute. I'll bet they grow fast. I'm having fun with my chickens. They aren't really into me holding them, but they are not afraid of me anymore. At least I can get close enough to pick them up now. I'm looking forward to seeing your "peeps"!
ReplyDeletetoo cute! little escape artist!
ReplyDeleteThey are dumb little things, aren't they? But sweet and well-intentioned. You can't help but just really like them. At least I can't. Such good natured little buggers.
ReplyDeleteOne of mine jumped out of its brooder last week and wound up in the closet. It was really quiet too, I had no idea where it went. Found it just sitting there in the dark, quiet as can be....
Ahhh that time of year again. We always seem to have some peepers in the house. We even every now and then have a small lamb in the playpen if things are not going to well. Live on the farm would not have it any other way.
ReplyDeleteHahahaha!! That's funny. Running around the house. We've had our share of peppers in our house!
ReplyDeleteHow very sweet. They are just so darn cute. Enjoy your week.
