Cold Watermelon on a Hot Day


They come scrambling for some cold watermelon.
Even little Pong is getting in on it. He's a survivor....no more Ping or Mama hen but he's making it.

    I had no idea that chickens would even eat watermelon--I guess if it's good enough for us, it is for them too!! I'm trying to stay cool.....

    Little Pong is adorable! While our temps are only up to 101, the heat index with our humidity here in Mississippi has been 120. Mine love, love, love watermelon, too! Great pictures!
