I have never heard of that one. Not sure what it was that froze, but everything froze in one form or the other. It can't get here soon enough for me!

It was in the high 20's today, but the sun finally came out. It was too cold to sit outside, so I dragged me a chair in front of the sliding glass door that faces west and soaked me up some sunshine. It felt SOOOOO good!Vickiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07741431727993692456noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8168836608028788365.post-33127720726762521852009-01-28T21:44:00.000-06:002009-01-28T21:44:00.000-06:00I don't know about the question of political corre...I don't know about the question of political correctness. It looks interesting. :-) Sleet is little pellets that bounce and don't really stick to anything, but can accumulate into a solid slick sleety mess if the temperatures are right. Freezing rain actually is rain when it hits the ground and instantly freezes to whatever it touches---it can cause massive tree damage and power outages. Thankfully it's not as common as sleet. Freezing rain caused a thirteen day power outage here in 2007 and still cleaning up the mess from the trees it took down. Thats the difference, at least in this neck of the woods. ;-)
Tammy (and I hope you get rain, but not FREEZING rain!)Tammyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02131066591477169851noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8168836608028788365.post-53606536115198323672009-01-28T13:34:00.000-06:002009-01-28T13:34:00.000-06:00Thank you, I often wondered the same thing... &quo...Thank you, I often wondered the same thing... LOL

I know, we also have had a blustery winter, add a few feet of snow with that & you have what was called in my day a "blizzard".

I'm so ready for 30* weather and some warm sunshine.

Until next time stay warm,
MelMelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09182682229829890445noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8168836608028788365.post-15493670475973158982009-01-28T13:28:00.000-06:002009-01-28T13:28:00.000-06:00The wind is off & on now...some rain has come ...The wind is off & on now...some rain has come again this afternoon.
